India’s Modi and U.S. Vice President Vance optimistic on trade deal

The Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, and the vice president of the United States, JD Vance, praised on Monday the “significant” progress made in commercial conversations between the two parts of Vance’s visit to India.

Vance, who was in India on a most personal trip with the second lady Usha Vance and her family, with modes in New Delhi.

A statement from Modi’s office said the two leaders “welcomed the significant progress in the negotiations for a beneficial commercial agreement of India-Ee. UU.

Vance and Modi also positively reviewed and evaluated progress in various areas or bilateral cooperation, and pointed out “continuous efforts” to improve cooperation in areas such as energy, defense and strategic technologies.

The two leaders also exchanged views on various regional and global issues of mutual interest, and requested dialogue and diplomacy.
