How many teams arrive at the NBA playoffs?
Sixteen teams in total arrive at the NBA playoffs, eight teams from the Eastern and West Conference. The first six seeds in each advance of the conference are based on the regular season record. The two final seeds at each conference are determined by the NBA game tournament.
