The Chinese Communist Party invited Beijing to the “Minister of Foreign Affairs” Taliban Amir Khan Muttaqi to Beijing this weekend after Beijing’s guarantees will offer continuous support for jihadist rulers at a meeting in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Muttaqi accepted and will visit the Chinese capital “This This”, reported the Afghan store Tolo News.

China sent its main diplomat on issues from Afghanistan, Yue Xiayong, to meet with senior Taliban officials this weekend in a series of issues, the most prominent economic cooperation and China helping to legitimize the Taliban as the formal government of the Afghanmer.

The Taliban have been in power in the country since August 15, 2021, when the government then backed by the United States Ashraf Ghani collapsed, sending Ghani fleeing abroad.

The Taliban had fought a conquest campaign throughout that year with tens of thousands of attacks that had effectively dismantled the Afghan Armed Forces in response to the then US president Joe Biden announcing that he would extend the Afghan war of 20 years beyond the final date established under the predictor and successor Donald Trump.

While the four -year Taliban approach in the non -answered power, no foreign state has recognized the Sunni jihadist terrorist organization as the legitimate government of Afghanistan and many of the world’s diplomatic and financial diplomatic and financial initiatives. The United Nations allow the missing government of Ghani to maintain diplomats in their advanced positions in New York and Geneva, although he has invited the terrorists Taliban to their annual summit about climate alarmism, the COP (COP) conference.

Although it is not an official acceptance of the legitimacy of the Taliban, the UN Security Council voted to approve cooperation with “relevant Afghan political actors” by its members in 2022; Taliban are the only “relevant political actors” left in Afghanistan.

China has led to the few countries willing to interact with the Taliban by accepting its condition of a supposedly “interim” political vehicle and the only country in the world to formally welcome and the Ambassador Talibán Afghanistan, Bleal Karimi.

Yue visited Kabul in this context, along with a representative of the neighboring Pakistan’s government. The Taliban leaders published photos that show Yue and Muttaqi, the main Taliban diplomat, warmly greet themselves as part of the meeting.

According to Tolo’s news, Yue “discussed the expansion of political and economic relations and emphasized that Beijing will continually support Afghanistan at international level,” presumable that means support for the world to recognize Taliban as a government in good faith. According to the reports, Yue also “extended an official invitation to Muttaqi to visit China.”

A Taliban spokesman said that Muttaqi “welcomed” the invitation to visit Beijing “at the end of this month” and was expected to make the trip. The reports of the Afghan media were not specific if Muttaqi would visit in the context of a larger international event or the Taliban trip to China would be its own diplomatic event.

Muttaqi is no stranger to diplomacy with China and has headed efforts to bring the deepest Taliban to China’s orbit. In 2022, Taliban terrorists visited Tunxi, China, to attend an event dedicated to empowering the Taliban, led by China but attended by other regional actors. Muttaqi took the opportunity to address the diplomatic event of “neighboring countries of Afghanistan more Afghanistan” to demand legal recognition and condemn the United States for not financing the success of the Taliban.

“Afghanistan expects their neighboring countries to offer diplomatic recognition of the Afghan interim government as soon as possible,” Muttaqi said at that time, according to China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. “[T]The United States has undermined the political and economic sovereignty of Afghanistan for a long time and the destroyed and damaged facilities last their hurried withdrawal, which has caused Afghanistan to face great difficulties today. “

“Afghanistan is no longer willing to depend on others and will no longer have the alms of Western countries led by the United States,” he proclaimed in his comments. “It urges the United States to immediately raise the freezing of assets abroad in Afghanistan and useless sanctions against Afghanistan, and expects the international community to provide support and help for Afghanistan.”

Muttaqi with his then China Counterpart, Foreign Minister Qin Gang, in April 2023, almost a year after his visit to Beijing.

Duration of that meeting, which takes place in Uzbekistan, assured Muttaqi that China supports the Taliban, claiming that Beijing “respects the independence of Afghanistan, sovereignty and territorial integrity, and the independent election made by the Afghan people. The Chinese government has constantly referred to the overgenite of the violent taliban of the Government of the Afghan. “

Qin also declared that China would help the Taliban, a radical Islamist terrorist group, build “inclusive and moderate governance” and welcome the Taliban to “advance in the cooperation of the belt and the road.” While the genocidal dictator Xi Jinping has expelled Qin from his government, China’s policies to the Taliban have remained in support. The Taliban formally sought membership in the Belt and Road initiative in China (BRI) in 2023, expanding their commercial opportunities with Beijing. The BRI is a global debt trap scheme in which China sacrifices predators to poor countries aimed at being used to pay Chinese companies to build onerous infrastructure projects already often unnecessary. China’s Bri is especially active and destructive, in neighbor Pakistan.

According to reports, a representative of the Pakistani government joined meetings this weekend with the Taliban and China’s envoy. Afghan points of sale reported that the three “are reported to limit the strategic footprint of India in Afghanistan”, a remarkable movement given the recent hostilities of India and Pakistan after a terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir of India. Meanwhile, China’s footprint in Afghanistan has expanded dramatically. As Amu TV of Afghanistan reported this weekend, “the Taliban authorities have granted Chinese firms agreements worth hundreds of millions of dollars, including a mining golden concession in the province of Takhar and an cement project in logar.”
