
The way to a better mood can cross your stomach.
Dutch researchers found that a popular supplement that increases the intestine helped healthy adults to feel less anxious, stressed and fatigued in a week.
An additional advantage: while marking fatality and gloom, the new study showed that the dose of DOAT did not compromise the happy ups and downs of users, avoiding the emotional plain that often falls by antidepressants.

For the study, researchers from the University of Leiden brought 88 participants without a history of mental health problems.

However, the researchers emphasized that probiotics are not consulted a substitute for antidepressants and other psychiatric medications.
