NYC trailblazing Harlem bodega owner Excenia Mette gunnned down in shooting: surveillance video

The timing images show at the time a beloved former owner of Harlem Bodega was fatally trapped in a bullet hail on Tuesday night after Shear Hearths and ran out to see his grandson.

Almost 24 hours after the fatal shooting, an improvised monument was established with flowers and prayer candles that explained the letter Z and a heart shape outside the beauty salon.

A large piece of cardboard was hung on the front of the room, which closed on Wednesday, with several more sincere and handwritten messages praising and remembering Mette.

“We love your soul, Marmá,” reads a message. “Fly high, my love.”

“You taught me how to be a gentleman, without one pops,” reads another.

“I miss you very much,” said a tragic third.

Mette became a pillar in her Harlem community as former owner of Momma Zee’s Food To Plez Deli, who ran for about four decades.

He opened his pioneer business in the 1980s, making him the first woman and the winery of the black dice in the Big Apple.

The Delicatessen closed after he could not survive the Covid-19 pandemic.

A suspect allegedly involved in the weapons fight, Darious Smith, 23, was arrested by the authorities. Hi, he suffered a gunshot wound.

The second gunman, responsible for killing Mette, remains in LAM on Wednesday night.
