Nuggets’ Aaron Gordon slams down wild last-second putback dunk to seal playoff win over Clippers

Inglewood, California-Aaron Gordon criticized Nikola Jokic’s failure when time expired to lift Denver’s nuggets about the Los Angeles Clippers 101-99 on Saturday to tie his Playoffs 2-2 series.

The video review confirmed that the ball left Gordon’s hands above the edge just before the bell sounded after the nuggets had flown an advantage of 22 points.

Jokic had 36 points, 21 rebounds and eight assists to lead the Nuggets.

Michael Porter Jr. and Christian Braun had 17 points each.

Kawhi Leonard scored 24 points for clippers.

Norman Powell added 22 and Ivica Zubac had 19 points, 12 rebounds and six assists.

The Nuggets divided their two games into the new intuit dome.

Game 5 is Monday at Denver.

A skirmish between the teams near the end of the first half resulted in six technical faults, even in Jokic.

The clippers first led in the game with 97-96 in the bogdanovic bogdanovic offensive basket with 1:11.

The free kick and Jokic’s basket put Denver in front, 99-97, before Zubac tied him.

The attempted 3 points of Jokic from the right side shot a lot on the basket, but Gordon emerged for the rebound with James Harden on his back and hit him.

The teams were suspended while the referees reviewed the work.

The Nuggets surpassed the clippers 35-19 in the third to lead 85-65.

Leonard, Harden and Powell caused the clippers in the room, when they surpassed Denver 34-16.

Jokic was one of the three pepitas, along with Gordon and Braun, to receive technicians for the body in the middle of the court with 6.6 seconds.

Harden, Powell and Kris Dunn, of the Clippers, had faults after the referees decided that closed fist blows were not thrown.

The confrontation irritated the clippers fans, who sang: “Late!” In Gordon, but he didn’t do much for the local team.

Los Angeles had offensively problems, shooting 39 or 88 and only 10 or 30 from a range of 3 points while following most of the whole game.

The Nuggets led two in part time before opening the game in the third.

They sutured the 35-17 clippers to enter the room ahead 85-65.

Jokic had 14 points and the Nuggets reached five 3 tweezers for the clippers.

Denver Russell Westbrook sat with inflammation of the left foot.
