Illegal Alien Accused of Random Shooting Spree on Tennessee Highway

An illegal foreigner is accused of randomly shooting in a Memphis, Tennessee, Highway, wounding three people.

Enoc Martínez, an illegal foreigner of 24 years of Honduras, was arrested in Shelby County and accused of five positions of first degree murder attempt.

According to the police, Martínez appeared in a Memphis residence and shot a man before reaching the 240 interstatal and firing at random drivers and passengers.

“I was there next to the car with the weapon, hanging through the window window, I had the gun hanging out the window, and it was like ‘Pow, Pow, Pow, Pow!” Luerlyn Polk, an eyewitness, told Wreg Memphis News.

Polk said Martínez was “looking crazy on the face” at the time of shooting.

The Department of National Security (DHS) revealed Thursday that Martínez illegally crossed the United States-Mexico border in June 2014 as an unaccompanied alien child (UAC).

From there, Martínez was delivered to the refugee resettlement office and placed with an adult sponsor in the United States in 2022, was ordered by a federal immigration judge.

Martínez is in Shelby County prison with a bail of $ 1 million. His next date in court is May 19.
