We do not forget it. That was the solemn oath expressed just through Australia and New Zealand from Dawn Unclean on Friday, since the Bothalties stopped to remind men and women lost in military service in all wars on what universally knows universally knowing as Anzac’s day.

Anzac’s day marks the disarmed of the First World War of Australia and the troops of the New Zealand Army Corps (Anzac) in Gallipoli, in what is now Türkiye, in 1915.

More than 10,000 Australians and Neozeligros were killed in the failed allied expedition that was promoted by Winston Churchill, as the first lord of the admiralty.

After Gallipoli and the equally disastrous Naval Campaign of Dardanelos, Churchill was degraded and resigned from the government.

This year commemorates the 110th anniversary of the landing and the marches was carried out as an act of memory in large and small towns and towns in the two neighboring countries.

“We gathered here, we thought about those who went out to the battlefields of all wars, but we did not return,” said Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, who attended a service in Canberra.

“We still feel them close to us in spirit. We want to be worthy of their great sacrifice.”

Meanwhile, AFP reports that New Zealand prime minister, Christopher Luxon, was in Türkiye and attended the ANZAC service in Gallipoli.

In a statement, King Carlos III of Great Britain thanked the thousands of Anzac troops for his “selfless service in the most difficult and dangerous times.”

The annual commemoration of the losses in all wars is produced in the period prior to a May 3 choice in Australia, where the most pressing problems for both parties are the cost of living, managing the energy transition and balancing relations with the United States.
