Some have questioned Wheter Hourston, Amen Thompson is a dirty player after Golden Jimmy Butler was Kured in a terrifying fall in game 2 when the Rockets guard took the legs from his opponent under him in a hard foul.
Thompson’s teammate, Dillon Brooks, had other ideas on the subject when asked about Friday before game 3 on Saturday.
“No, I think the dirty player is Drayond (green), giving him a small impulse as the regular basketball players do,” Brooks said. “And Jimmy fights in the air for a rebound and things happen. Amen is not a dirty player. He has nothing) to do with being a dirty player.”
Butler’s state for game 3 is uncertain after sustaining what the team called a pelvic contusion in the loss of 109-94 that tied the first round series in 1-1.
Brooks said they can’t get away from game 3 with concerns about what people say about them.
“We are not worried about that,” he said. “We are in the next game and we hope Jimmy can improve.”
Golden State coach Steve Kerr said after the game that he doesn’t believe Thompson intended to hurt Butler.
“We don’t think there was anything wrong with the work,” Kerr said. “It was just one of those plays.”

Houston’s coach, Ime Uudoka, intervened in the work on Friday.
“It is obvious that it was intentional,” he said. “You look at all intermediate bodies and hut it and stumble and the way it fell. Do not fall into someone first on purpose.”
Wednesday’s game put on a little chipp with players from both teams who received technical offenses in the second half and Jalen Green de Houston recounting a flagrant foul when he stirred an arm on the face of Dayand Green.
“Amen obviously is not a dirty player,” said Umoka. “There is a difference between the aggressive and dirty physical game and some of the things could also be questioned.”
