A 22 -year -old thief named by the deceased John F. Kennedy has caused an uprising in Peru escaping from prison, shouting thanks to God as he ran to freedom, according to the video that has become viral.

John Kennedy Javier Sebastian had been one of the 10,000 inmates in the prison of Lurigancho de Lima, the most full of Peru, and builds to have 2,500.

On Monday night, he escaped from his cell, “overlooked security controls by climbing the perimeter fence, accessing the area called no Man’s Country” and then climbed on the outer wall, both covered with shaving wire and safety peaks.

Sebastian had a leg fulfilling a 10-year sentence for robbery as Sprout MID-2023.

“Hallelujah, Christ lives!” You can listen to the fugitive screaming euphorically when it reaches the main road and is released, according to the video captured by the neighbors.

You can hear shots and dogs in the background, but Sebastian manages to escape unharmed.

The chief of the prison was fired after his escape, the INPE said, and security was reinforced. The authorities launched a human hunt.

Peru has experience in a wave of crimes and in recent months they declared their third state of emergency in less than a year, according to the Atlantic Council. In December 2024, the United States issued a security alert for Peru, and in 2022 the United States Department of State said that the United States “has described Peru at a critically high risk level for crime” for more than 15 years.
