The semifinals of the Individual Male Group at the Open of France 2025 are already established. A couple of quarterfinal confrontations concluded on Wednesday, since Top Seeder Sinner demolished Alexander Bublik, while the sixth -sealed novak djokovic tok was the Alexander Zverev of the third seal. On Tuesday, Lorenzo Musetti and Carlos Alcaraz made them adjust to their opponents to hit their tickets as well.

The victories for the last two reached the expense of the two American men in the field: Frances Tiafoe and Tommy Paul. Tiafoe, the 15 seed, fell against Musetti in four sets, 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, 6-2. Paul, the twelfth seed, fell to the second alcaraz sown in straight sets and really did not put much resistance, falling 6-0, 6-1, 6-4.

That means that the American winner won in the support of male singles once again, and the victory of the Andy Roddick Open in 2003 Willin his last victory in Grand Slam.

In Wednesday’s first confrontation, Sinner did not need time to defeat Bublik not sown. He dropped his opponent in straight sets, 6-1, 7-5, 6-0, hitting his ticket to the semifinals. Bublik had six double failures, while Sinner won 78 percent of his first serve to easily control the game.

Sinner’s best performance in the France Open was an appearance in the semifinals last season, so his progress here coincides with that. He has won the Grand Slam tournament at the Australia Open and the United States Open, including winning the first earlier this year. He still needs titles in Wimbledon and Roland Garros, and there is one step closer to the latter after knocking Bublik.

Zverev won a first rapid victory against Djokovic in its quarterfinals, but the Serbian quickly turned the tables and played the next three in a row to advance, winning 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4. There was an early moment in the fifth set where the two returned and loved in a 41 -shots rally that was possible by Djokovic.

Djokovic enjoyed his 100th victory in Roland Garros this tournament, becoming the second player to do it after Rafael Nadal. He has won the title in Roland Garros three times, to go along with 10 titles in Australia, seven in Wimbledon and four in the US Open. However, the 38 -year -old has not won a slam since the Open of US 2023.

Sinner and Djokovic have faced eight times over the years, dividing the clashes into four. That includes only a meeting in Clay, which was won by Djokovic, although that was in 2021. Sinner has tasks in the last three meetings between the two.

Alcaraz and Musetti, the eighth seed, have faced seven times as professionals, with Alcaraz taking six of those meetings. Musetti ended in 2022, which was in clay, but the other four clay games went to Alcaraz. This semifinal appearance is Musetti’s first at the France Open and the second in general for a Grand Slam.

Alcaraz, on the other hand, is the Defense champion of Roland Garros, and also has victories in Wimbledon and the United States Open. He reached the quarterfinals at the Australian Open this season, so this would be his first 2025 Slam final if he passes to Musetti.

The male semifinals will take place on Friday after a day off (the women’s semifinals will occur on Thursday), with the television coverage of the matches provided by TNT. Live broadcast will also be available through TNT and Max, as they have a leg tournament.
