Empower farmers holistically through innovative use of biologicals: Syngenta India

Syngenta India has emphasized the need to empower farmers in an integral way through innovative use based on biological science.

Presenting its road map at the Bioag World Congress, Sushel Kumar, managing director of Syngenta India PVT LTD, said agriculture faces multifaceted challenges.

Appointing him, a media statement said: “Therefore, we need to adopt a multiple strategy to ensure that crops are cultivated viable and sustainably. The products of Syngenta India for the efficiency of nutrient use, soil health and the management of abiotic stress benefit producers in the use of the maximum potential of nutrients and fertilizers applied to the soil, he said, and added that the soil sanctions the solutions allow the soil and saline condition.

He said Syngenta Biologicals is an emerging vertical under the largest umbrella or syngenta.

Sanjay Kumar Tokala, Chief of Biological, Syngenta India, said that the global biological sector is ready to grow at $ 20 billion by 2030, and India markets also grow solidly. Syngenta will contribute significantly to its market share. “We maintain our open options to explore the short -term partners to add teeth to our existing biological basket, taking into account the evolving regulatory framework in India,” he said.

By integrating biologicals into agricultural practices, farmers can a greater productivity while preserving ecological balance, ensuring food security for future generations, he said.

At the same time, biologicals complement and improve conventional crop protection solutions, providing producers with more flexibility. This allows them to better address the demands of consumers, social and regulatory of more sustainable agricultural methods. “As an important element in integrated crop management, biologicals help producers to administer health problems and pests of effective plants and safely,” he said.
