America loves beer.
From IPA to bearings, the preference of the United States by the bear varies between regions and states, he thought that a brand seems to stand out from the rest.
In a recent study by Coffeness, a German website focused on coffee -related studies, analysts compiled a classification of the most popular bear in each state.
Using data from Yougov’s popularity grades, as well as Google’s search data, the study provides a “comprehensive image” or beer preferences from the United States.
“Our analysis reveals some surprising patterns and confirms a series of long hero assumptions,” the study said.
The favorite brand of the United States is Miller, which was classified as the most wanted bear in 30 states, which represents 60% of the country. Miller classified the highest in the states on both coasts, from Washington to Maine, more Alaska and Hawaii.
“Miller’s generalized appeal is probably derived from its accessibility, consistent taste profile and a strong marketing presence,” Coffeness wrote in the study.
Coors refs in second place, one of the favorites of eight states, including Arizona, California and Texas.
Three states, Georgia, New Jersey and South Carolina, put Guinness at the top of the list.
Budweiser and Bud Light you only are looking for in four combined states, despite mass advertising campaigns.
“The 2023 controversy around Bud Light may have had something to do with this,” according to the study.
Budweiser was the best option in Missouri and New Hampshire, while North Carolina and Ohio preferred Bud Light. (Anheuser-Busch, owner of Budweiser and Bud Light, is based in St. Louis, Missouri).
Some other brands are the best options in only one or two states, which reflects located popularity.
Blue Moon is the top of the barrel in Colorado. Artisanal -style beer is produced by the parent company Coors, which also calls its native state to Colorado.
“This suggests that the Coloradans can appreciate the most craft oriented sacrifices of their local beer elaboration giant,” Coffeness wrote.
Corona was classified higher in a single state: Connecticut.
“The Mexican Beer Association with the relaxation of the beach and the Lima hand snack can resonate with the coastal residents of Connecticut,” said the researchers.
