Samsung to invest ₹1,000 crore in its existing plant at Sriperumbudur

Samsung will make an additional investment of ₹ 1,000 million rupees in existing facilities in Srperumbudur. This will create 100 more jobs, the Minister of Industries, TRB Rajaa, on the Assembly on Friday.

Of the 125 new GCC, 60 were established in 2023-24, which is the highest for any city in the country, says the policy note.

Chennai leads the state in GCC with more than 300 facilities operated by leading companies such as Adidas, Boeing, Mizuho, ​​Pfizer, Qualcomm, Standard Chartered, UPS and Visteon.
