Bharti Airtel (Aurtel) said Tuesday that his subsidiary, Bharti Hexacom, has concluded definitive agreements with Adani Data Networks Limited (DNA) to acquire rights to use 400 MHz or the spectrum sector.

ADNL, a subsidiary of Adani Enterprises, had acquired the 400 MHz spectrum in 26 Gigahertz (GHZ) for around RS. 212 million rupees through an auction held in 2022. He had bought 100 MHz each in Mumbai and 50 MHz each in Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu in the 26 GHz to begin private networks.

The sources said Airstel had bought the spectrum mentioned above to much lower than the price at Adani had bought them from the hero of the auctions in 2022. The sources also said that the group has cleared all the fines he faced for delay from Ithin’s Ithin or Ithin of Ithin of Ihin or that delaying Ahin de Ithin de Ithin or him. Buy the spectrum.

The Telecommunications Department (DOT) had imposed sanctions for not complying with the minimum implementation obligations, includes the launch of 5G commercial services within a year of acquiring the spectrum.

Meanwhile, Airtel said: “The closure of the transaction is subject to the satisfaction of the standard conditions (including the conditions established in the commercial patterns) and the legal approval (s) (s).”

With this last development, Adani Group has indicated that he does not enter the telecommunications segment, compared to his previous plans to create a private network to support his businesses, from airports to energy, as well as data centers.

Previously, there were reports that the company was also considering delivering the 5G spectrum to the government due to its inability to launch services.

A private network is a safe network separate from public Internet, which is connected to a limited number of devices and areas. You can only connect the authorized devices parked in that area and does not allow the interference of external network and the vice versa.

These networks allow companies to have more control over their data and network management, and can also be adapted to meet the needs of their specific environments, such as factories and warehouses.
