The JSW group led by Sajjan Jindal said Monday that he will try to bring Japanese and Korean companies in his Salboni Industrial Park proposed in Western Bengal, since many of these companies are looking for a “home” in the middle of the tariff fight between the United States and China.

The POSTE Park, which aims to provide PLUG-AND-PLAY FACILITIES to the industries, will be established at the 1,600 MW thermal plant. JSW Energy began the construction of the ultra supercritical thermal energy plant (2×800 MW) in Salboni in the state’s West Medinipur district.

“We are trying to attract Japanese and Korean companions to establish units in the industrial park here. Special after the American-China splash that is happening now, many Korean and Japanese industries, which are located in China and exports. The president of the JSW group, Sajjan Jindal, told journalists outside the ceremony of the top of the base of the energy project.

The West Bengal Prime Minister, Mamata Banerjee, announced the Foundation Plate for the Power Project, which implies an investment of ₹ 16,000 million rupees.

Jindal said that Japanese and Korean companions operating in electronics, electronics, refrigerator, transformers, cell phone batteries and chemical products, among others, may be attracted to the 2000 Acres industrial park, which would be a model in the country.

He said the group has a plan to establish two more energy units with 800 MW each in Salboni.

The Greenfield Power project is the first JSW Group company in the energy sector in Eastern India. “This is a historical project. I must congratulate the Jindal group and all its officials,” Banerjee said in the event.

The main minister described the project as a “special type of ecological initiative” and called it “the need for the hour.” As many districts on Axis 23 will benefit from this initiative, he added.
