Duration This period, sales increased almost five times from more than ₹ 31 billion rupees in fiscal year 2014. Khadi’s production and sales recorded a growth of 366 percent and 561 percent, respectively. The regular promotion of Khadi’s Prime Minister Modi may also have increased production and sales.

The performance in the last 11 years also showed that cumulative employment increased to 1.94 million rupees in fiscal year 2015 compared to 1.3 million rupees in fiscal year 2014, a growth of 49 percent.
