Instagram launched its independent video creation application on Tuesday that sacrifices similar characteristics to those already available from Tiktok Parent Bytedonce.
The new application allows creators to organize project ideas, shoot and edit video, and access ideas about content. Editions include background replacement, automatic subtitles and artificial intelligence tools that can turn video into video.
“At this time many things are happening in the world and whatever happens, we believe it is our work to create the most convincing creative tools for those of you who make videos not only for Instagram but for platforms,” said Adam Mosseri.
Editions seem to be GoalThe response to Capcut, Tiktok’s sister application is also owned by the Chinese headquarters in China, which allows users to create and edit video on their phone or computer.

With the uncertain future of Tiktok, the Instagram movement to launch editions could be seen as a step to gain ground in the next era of the creation of short videos in the creative economy.
Earlier this month, President Donald Trump for the second time extended the deadline for Bytey to disiniate American Tiktok operations or face an effective prohibition. The deadline is now in mid -June.
