The announcement of the 2024 Grammy Award nominees on Friday marked a first for Taylor Swift. The famous musician became the first in history to receive seven nominations for song of the year during her career. This year’s nominee in that category went to her smash song, “Anti-Hero.”
Swift was also nominated for her sixth album of the year, “Midnights.” She is currently tied for the most nominations received by a female artist in that category with legendary musician Barbra Streisand.
The Eras Tour performer was nominated for six awards in all, including best pop solo performance, best pop/duo group performance, and record of the year.
With nine nominations this year, SZA is the most nominated artist, followed by Phoebe Bridgers, Serban Ghenea, and Victoria Monét, each with seven nominations.
